This report by Middle Island summarizes the exploration on MEP60335, Otago. Exploration work completed within the permit area includes a passive seismic survey and a preliminary scoping study on the chemical processing of glauconite. The low potassium concentration in the raw glauconite presents a major tech-economic challenge and the large-scale checmical processes required to extract the potassium is not commercially viable at the current potash price. Middle Island has made the decision to relinquish MEP60335.
