This relinquishment report by Wilson & Wilson summarises the work completed on MEP60462, Clutha District, Otago. A literature review has been completed and all available geological data has been compiled into a GIS database. A total of 19 samples were collected during a reconnaissance trip and geochemical analysis was performed on 16 of these samples. A petrological study has also been carried out, and can be found in enclosure 3. Due to negative geochemical results for targeted rare earths and gold in sandstones, stream sediments and panned concentrates, the permit has been surrendered.
