Relinquishment Report for Mineral Prospecting Permit 60391

This report for Ferrite Resources NZ summarizes prospecting activities completed on MPP60391, Southland. The completed work included literature review, aerial and satellite imagery studies, field reconnaissance, sampling and mineralogical descriptions, and preliminary feasibility study. Although potential for economic grades of mineral sands exists in the permit area. The field work indicated that land ownership, high settlement densities and potential environmental problems, will make advancing the project unfeasible. Consequently, the area was relinquished.
