Relinquishment Report, Mineral Prospecting Permit (PP) 60466

This report by Hyde Resources summarizes the exploration activities completed within MPP60466, Otago. A passive seismic survey was conducted to delineate the thickness of Cenozoic cover overlying the Otago Schist erosion surface, and showed Cenozoic cover ranged from 25 m in the west to almost 300 m in the east, in MPP60466. The thickness of the Cenozoic cover across MPP60466 makes exploring for Hyde-Macraes Shear Zone related mineralisation difficult without high risk deep drilling. Hyde Resources has therefore made the decision to relinquish the permit. A GIS database of all relevant data and seismic data can be found as enclosures to this report.
