This report discusses exploration work carried out in EP 57533 in 2016 and 2017. Eighteen test pits were completed in total, with fifteen test pits completed adjacent to the Taramakau River east of Kumara Junction. Bottom was not reached in these pits and no gold was found. Three test pits were completed in the area known as Larkans Flat, immediately south of Kumara township, bottom was not reached and low gold grades were found (up to 0.8gr/m3). Based on poor results the majority of EP57533 is to be surrendered.
