Exploration Permit (EP)60078 Technical Report for the period 20 January 2016 - 19 January 2019

This report by NZ Garnet for MEP60078 in West Coast details the exploration activities from January 2016 to January 2019. The work includes literature review and GIS database compilation. Geological mapping and geochemical analysis of hand augured samples; 45 auger holes were completed and 26 samples were collected for XRF analysis. The results show the average garnet grade is 14%. A ground based magnetic survey consisting of 91 lines (12.3 km) was completed. The data was processed and imported into ArcGIS for interpretation. Results of the exploration activities confirmed the presence of a coastal garnet-bearing sand deposit. Relevant data can be found in the enclosures to this report.
