This technical report is prepared by MOD Resources for Sams Creek (MEP40338) gold deposit located in Takaka, Nelson. The report summarises the exploration works for the period 27th March 2014 to 26th March 2017. Work during this period consisted of a program of channel and rock chip sampling along a 6km strike length of the Sams Creek Dyke and a resource estimate update undertaken by Golder Associates. Data and information on both of this are included as enclosure to the report. The new resource estimate reports a combined in situ resource of 17.95Mt at 1.92g/t Au for 1.11Moz Au inferred, using a cut-off grade of 0.7g/t. This represents an increase of 95,000oz contained Au and a 25% improvement in mean grade in comparison to the 2013 estimate; largely owing to the reinterpretation of high grade mineralisation in the Main Zone area using additional data from two new drillholes completed in 2013. Estimates for the Bobby Dazzler and Carapace zones were unchanged from the 2013 Golder estimate. Additional work included metallurgical ore processing testwork. Further work is planned over a 4 year appraisal extension period to undertake an underground mining scoping study and further define the resource to Indicated and Measured resource status.
