MPP 51587 was subject to a Partial Relinquishment in December 2011 as a result of the granted Extension of Duration. No work had been completed over the relinquished portion of the permit. The part to the north was within the Paparoa National Park, very steep, bush clad and difficult to advance further so no field work was undertaken. The part to the south was mostly over coal measures and no field work was undertaken. Mineral Reports MR4692, MR4780 and MR5034 detail the work completed over the retained portion of the permit.
