New Talisman Gold Mines Limited commissioned a Pre-feasibility study (PFS) for the Talisman Project, located in the Coramandel region during the period between Dec 2012 and Dec 2014. It indicated a small scale operation, with peak production of 35k tpa and gold production of 32,217 Oz of gold over a five year period and yeilded an NPV of NZ$ 15.4 millioin at an average gold price of USD 1643/Oz. However, new set of information and altered circumstances have necessitated the company revisit the proposed project development plan and decided the inclusion of mineralisation extensions from Talisman into Rahu in their new study, described in this report. Report also contains resource estimate studies, mining methods delineation/evaluation, identification of fatal flaws that would prevent the development of the project and recommendations that would bring the Karangahake project to account.
