This relinquishment report outlines the work completed by Hauraki Gold Limited between October 2013 and November 2013 for the exploration permit (EP) 54783 in Northland. Work included a desktop study of previous work and a five day reconnaissance visit to the permit area. As a result of the visit Hauraki Gold withdrew from the permit for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the geology showed little evidence of alteration and quartz veining and, secondly, the permit covers 175 properties making access and the management of non-statuary minerals (e.g., Cu and Mo), difficult.
