This digital index covers Vols.I to XII of New Zealand Mines Record published during the period between 1897 and 1909 inclusive. It contains references to New Zealand Quartz Mines, Coal Mines, Alluvial Sluicing Claims, Dredges, Localities of Ores, Mining Districts, Gold Fields, etc, (but not of other matter unrelated to New Zealand Mining). Original bound volumes of these Mines Records are held by NZP&M, Parliament Library and Archives NZ. These volumes will be added to our online database possibly around mid-2013.
