PP50995 Relinquishment Report for Reefton, West Coast

This report outlines the exploration activites completed by FMG Pacific Ltd within PP50995 that lie outside the area subsequent EP54402 during the period between April 2009 and April 2011. Work completed in this area included numerous on-ground and desktop prospecting activities such as literature review and GIS data compilation, ground truthing of previous mapping and exploration data, 35 kms 2D seismic reflection data acquisition and analysis, detailed and reconnaissance geological and structural mapping, remote sensing analysis, geochemical sampling and alluvial gold desktop studies. The results of the activites completed within PP50995 suggest potential for economically exploitable coal deposits is low and also the alluvial gold deposit type existed in the tenement is not a high priortity for FMG, hence the relinquishment of that acreage.
