This geochemical database compiles much of the open file metallic mineral geochemical data collected in New Zealand over the past several decades. This dataset has been compiled in order to improve the accessibility of open file data stored in the many Mineral Reports held in the Crown Minerals technical database. Content includes; 1497 drill collars, 55072 stream samples, 44645 soil samples, 26661 rock samples, and 157 whole rock samples. The data is available in a number of different file formats including; Comma-separate values, MapInfo Tab, ESRI shapefile, Microsoft Access 2003 and Microsoft Access 2007. NOTE: Northland updated database has been appended to each dataset for all file formats on 02.05.2012.
