Sinowalen Minerals (NZ) Ltd holds PP39349 over the coastal lowland area at the mouth of the Karamea River on the west coast of the South Island. The area is prospective for sands containing ilmenite. This report comprises a literature review, GIS data compilation, and a summary of sampling work recently undertaken. Results of previous drilling indicate a potentially economic resource.
