This report for permit area 41090 discusses sampling work undertaken to obtain resource assessments. 4 samples of silica were analysed and it was concluded that the Waimumu coarse quartz gravels comprise a suitable feedstock for reduction to silicon metal in a submerged arc furnace. Samples were assayed for gold and a resource estimate of 300,000 tonnes was calculated.
