Report on evaluation of the 39157 Pahia prospecting permit area, South Island, New Zealand, 9-7-1998 to 9-7-1999

Anzex investigated hard rock PEG anomalism within the Pahia layered series lithological unit. The Pahia Point permit area was sampled by Anzex with a view to better define PEG prospectively. No economic [Pt + Pd] values have been recorded from the samples to date. Anomalies have been recorded though only a mediocre correlation exists with PGE values in samples to date. A small number of stream sediment pan concentrate samples were taken in the area and these have failed to show significant PGE anomalism.
