Rangitata Pty Ltd has relinquished PP 39 059 and acquired EP 40 304 following an assessment of the geology and mineral potential of the Longwood Ranges. Exploration work has included digitising and magnetic modelling of the Kennecott 1969 aeromagnetic survey, digitising and reinterpretation of stream sediment geochemical data from both Sigma and Kennecott, and geological mapping. Extensive use of the Vulcan three dimensional computer graphics package to construct and interpret the geological, geophysical and geochemical models. Field trips were undertaken to review the models in the field. No data or results are presented in this report.
