Progress report on EL 33445 Ohika, Buller, New Zealand

This report presents results of a follow-up programme of exploration on the Ohika exploration licence, Buller. Work included geological inspection and drainage sampling on Blackwater River, Little Cascade Creek, Lower Ohikaiti River and Ohikaiti River. No significant mineralisation was found in Blackwater River or the Lower Ohikaiti River. Recent developments in proposed legislation may mean current areas under title will not be available for mining purposes, precluding any further exploration. Assuming resolution of the title problem further work is recommended for the Ohikanui River and Little Cascade Creek.
