This report covers work carried out between April 1986 and Jan 1989. It details results of geochemical and geophysical surveys, geological mapping and drilling. The tenement contains parts of an extinct geothermal system in the Central Volcanics Region between Taupo and Rotorua. West-northwest and north-norhteast structures are dominant and re considered to have focused mineralisation. Gold occurs within narrow vertical veins and hydrothermal breccia veins. Gold also occurs as disseminated replacements with quartz and adularia in pumiceous country rock.
