Marble at Kakahu, Geraldine

Cretaceous marble in the Kakahu River is pure, has a regional dip of 45-90 degrees to the south, and is possibily cut by a fault. A minimum reserve of 2.5 million tons is calculated. Further work includes checking on marble consistency, and drilling to determine lateral extent.
