The exploration target consisted of the north and south extensions to previously mined mineralised quartz veins. The areas of most potential, as determined by Cyprus, have been tested with disappointing results. The Maria vein in the eight level development south of Keillors cross-cut was the primary target and testing by 19 drillholes indicated that the vein was narrow, subject to post vein faulting and contained erratic gold grades. Testing of other targets did not indicate any potential for economic gold resource.
