Gold prospect at Hura Saddle, Taipo Valley - An interim report

This report discusses the workings present in Taipo Valley, and the potential for the mine to be re-developed pending further investigation of quartz veins seen within the drive shaft. It was found that the gold and silver values are carried in the distinctive, tough and massive quartz vein which is exposed on the NE wall of the workings. The gold is sporadic within this vein, however a single channel does not permit a proper evaluation of the average ore-in-ground values.
