Copper mineralisation in the greenschist of Kokatahi River

An examination of the mineralisation and geology was undertaken within the area. A pyrite vein was analysed: Au (1 dwt 10 gr), Ag (1 dwt 2 grs), Pt (4 grs), Cu (0.79%). On the basis of these analyses and unfavourable topography, the author suggests that this occurence is not worth further investigation.
