Report on EL 33294 Aorangi, Northwest Nelson, New Zealand, to November 1987

The Aorangi Licence area was explored for hard-rock gold mineralisation during a helicopter supported regional geochemical sampling programme, conducted during late 1986. This report summarises the results of this prospecting, which identified fourteen areas with anomalous stream sediment, pan concentrate and rock geochemistry. Detailed follow-up is recommended for eleven anomaly areas. This should include traversing of individual drainages and additional rock sampling.
