Summary of prospecting activities within Wilkins & Davies - CRA Exploration joint venture licences, Northwest Nelson, New Zealand

This report summarises prospecting activities within the Boulder Lake and Fletcher Creek prospects and a proposed exploration programme for 1987. During 1986 prospecting of the Rocky River - Maori Gully area, the Crescent Creek - Salisbury creek area, Parsons Creek and the Forrester Creek - Rocky River area commenced. This involved geological mapping and rock sampling of both mineralised float and outcrop during traversed up the main drainages. Further work is outlined for the Maori Gully - Rocky River anomaly area, the Forrester Creek - Rocky River anomaly and the Parsons Creek anomaly. Work on the Crescent Creek area failed to identify any significant areas of mineralisation. No further work is recommended for this area.
