This report presents a summary of the IP and resistivity survey carried out over the Sams Creek Prospect in 1986. Five areas were investigated as well as sections of four drillholes. Suspected problems with the equipment and occasional difficulties with ground conditions, degraded the quality of results from some survey sections. These portions were resurveyed. Due to difficulties, no further surveys are recommended for the area at this time. Chargeability anomalies were identified which may be associated with the main, central sections of Doyles dyke rock zone and with the western outcrops. These zones may be worthy of attention, but any plan for further work should be made with an awareness of the ambiguous nature of the interpretation. Assessment of the Sams Creek dyke using drilling is recommended.
