This report presents the findings of the numerical model developed in FLAC2D by SCT Operations to review geotechnical issues associated with fender and sub-level stability in the proposed Spring Creek Coal Mine. The results of this work should be seen as an estimate for the purposes of comparative planning only, and they will need to be continually reviewed and validated as more definitive monitoring is available.
