This report discusses the steps taken during closure of the Spring Creek mine. A history of mining and mineral ownership within the permit areas is provided, along with a plan for final mine closure, and short and long term rehabilitation. Solid Energy estimates that significant coal resources of 122 Mt remain unmined. Appended to the report are: 1. A mine survey closure plan, 2. A seal design proposal, 3. A mine closure options report.
