This report by Solid Energy NZ outlines the work carried on CEP 50797, Reefton Coalfield during the 2015 exploration programme. This work includes field mapping, exploration drilling, trenching, coal outcrop sampling and an update of the resource model. Solid Energy conclude that there is significant potential for the economic extraction of coal within the Welcome prospect based on the model constructed from the available data. Continued investigation and data collection is required to further delineate the resource.
