This report documents the work completed by Solid Energy on coal exploration permit 53250, Maramarua Coalfield during the first 36 months of the license period up until June 2015. Work completed during this time includes a review of all available exploration data, building a digital terrain model, the completion and analysis of two drill holes (09930 and 09931) and an update of the geological model. Coal quality data from the two holes drilled is similar to other Maramarua Coalfield coal, being of low ash and low sulphur.
