Exploration permit 52746 covers an area of 355.90 hectares within the Reefton Coal Field in the Burkes Creek Region. This report outlines the results of five drillholes (all geophysically lodged) and then uses them to update the existing geological and coal quality model. The main objective for these drillholes was the intersection of the No 4 seam and to confirm the geometry of this seam around the north-eastern boundary of the permit. This work also identified low strip ratio coal resources, which may require further exploration work to convert into reserves.
