This report has presented prospecting work completed by FMG Pacific Ltd over the PL 51213 permit area to August 2010. Work completed includes conducting a preliminary review of available historical exploration and geological data pertaining to permit area, collating and compiling them into GIS System, generating a regional 3D geological model of the major stratigraphic units so as to identify potential near surface Rotokohu Coal Measures. Also completed land surveying for geophysical survey to identify any concealed coal deposit and to clarify the structure of the area. Results thus far revealed a low potential for significant economic coal resources within the permit. However large parts of the permit have not been effectively explored and therefore FMG planned further exploration to discover the subsurface occurrences, if existed.
