In ground coal reserves Ohai coalfield

The report is a brief assessment of the inground coal reserves of the Ohai Coalfield largely derived from recently completed exploration results and a re-examination of the existing geological database. To aid with the management of the current phase of exploration, several exploration sectors have been defined and most, although not all recent exploration, has been carried out in these sectors. A detailed breakdown of coal quantities in each sector is provided in appendix 2b. Existing working in the No.1 seam (Morley Mine) and No.2 Seam (No.16 Opencast) are excluded from these calculations.
