Petroleum Exploration Permit (PEP) 57075 is located in the offshore Taranaki Basin west of North Island, New Zealand (Figure 1). The permit covered an original area of 1,365 km2 at the award date and was named “Cloudy Bay” after the primary lead identified in the permit. One well was drilled (Gladstone-1) during the permit tenure and one partial relinquishment made. In year 10 of the work programme an application to surrender PEP 57075 was submitted to New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals (NZP&M) by OMV New Zealand Limited (OMV) on behalf of the PEP 57075 Joint Venture (JV). This report briefly describes the work carried out across the permit area.
